Pre-Adventurers
The North American Division has two pre-Adventurer courses. For four year olds there is Little Lambs and for five year olds there is Eager Beavers. Some clubs in this Division use these courses, but they have not been officially accepted here. American hand books and materials can be obtained through the NAD Advent Source website at www.adventsource.org, The Keene Fort Worth Adventurer web page (see the Internet Links page here) has some of these material that can be down loaded.
The Greater Sydney Conference has written a manual suitable for this Division for both these courses. The Little Lambs course has been trialed and a regular version 1 is now in use. Eager Beavers have been renamed Little Fish and the fourth version of the trial manual now available. Both of these can be downloaded from the Conference web page at http://www.sydneyadventistyouth.com.au/. Sometimes this site can be very slow loading. Select Adventurers on the upper menu bar (the orange one which runs across the screen), then select pre-adventurers on the second menu bar (the dark blue one), and the two manuals will be found by clicking on icons on the screen.
At one time the Victorian Conference supported the Playful Puppies program written by Deb Butler, but then they dropped it. It was for a while on the unofficial Division Youth site. When the predecessor of this site was prepared Deb Butler sent in the material she had prepared for the Cute Cuddlies and Curious Kittens classes.
- Cute Cuddlies for children aged three years old.

- Playful Puppies for children aged four years old.

- Curious Kittens for children aged five years old.

In the Greater Sydney Conference pre-Adventurers used to be called Grasshoppers but there was no written curriculum. The Castle Hill Club sells badges and certificates for this course. Read this letter

The Castle Hill Church Adventurer club has supplied copies of their 2002 and 2003 programs. These have been converted to Adobe Acrobat files. First are letters to parents
used at the start and end of the year. Second is the annual program for 2002
. This includes a special pre-adventurer award which is a combination of Home Helper and Spotter. Third and fourth are the annual program for 2003
and a companion set of worksheets for a Bird Award
based loosely on the Feathered Friend award.
